A beautifully balanced, athletic colt from a proven New Zealand family line, he brings together first-crop sire momentum and a damside loaded with quality.

Stay Inside is an exciting young sire from the Redoute’s Choice (Danehill) sire line.

Commencing stud duties in 2022, Stay Inside (Extreme Choice) is already creating an impression with his first crop two-year-olds, and along with Extreme Warrior, also by Extreme Choice (Not A Single Doubt), they are among the top four First Season Sires in Australia, both having already produced stakes winners.

Stay Inside has sired two stakes’ winners, with two-year-old colt Incognito winning the Arrowfield Breeders’ Plate (Gr. 3, 1000m) on debut, and Lassified winning the Wellesley Stakes (Listed, 1100m) after finishing fourth in the Wakefield Stakes (Gr. 2, 1100m).

The sire of Stay Inside, Extreme Choice, by Champion Sire Not A Single Doubt (Redoute’s Choice), was a dual Group One winning sprinter, and statistically one of the most elite sires in the world when it comes to his ratio of Group One winners to runners.

Some would argue, that he is, indeed, the hottest young sire in the world at present, given 12% stakes winners to runners and 17 stakes winners including six individual Group One winners.

Known for his versatility, having sired winners of the Golden Slipper (Gr. 1, 1200m) and Melbourne Cup (Gr. 1, 3200m), and with a A$330,000 service fee, the yearling progeny by Extreme Choice sold up $1.7m last year and averaged in excess of $570,000.

The dam of the colt, Galway Girl, is a daughter of reigning Australian Champion Sire I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit), famously the sire of Te Akau bought and trained World Champion Sprinter, Horse of the Year, and 10-time Group One winner Imperatriz.

Galway Girl won six races from 1350m – 1880m, and in turn out of Eulogy Stakes (Gr. 3, 1600m) winner Whistling Dixie, by Champion Sire Pins (Snippets).

It is a very good Waikato Stud family, bred by Garry Chittick.
